Our Staff
Trina Sproat
Trina Sproat started originally at the resort’s Tennis Shop. For over 15 years, Trina has been our Business Development Manager, selling the resort to associations across the state of Georgia. Not only does Trina have a long history at the historic King and Prince, but her ancestors were also among the first residents of St. Simons Island, and her familial home is the oldest house that remains standing on the island.

- Fun fact: Trina went to veterinary school and once had aspirations to become a large animal vet. She used to ride horses and show horses with a riding trainer in Ocala, Florida.
Bob Speight
Entering as the Front Office Manager in 2001 and eventually expanding into a Rooms Division Manager who oversees hotel operations at The King and Prince, Bob Speight is an integral part of the resort’s team. In addition, Bob has a great passion for all things aviation-related.

Lisa Knox
With a great passion for the property, Housekeeper Lisa Knox loves when guests return to the property and remember her by name or request her specifically! Lisa enjoys participating in fun games with other team members during Housekeeping Week. Outside of work, Lisa also loves going to the gym for exercise and hanging out with her children.

Katherine Ladson (Ms. Kat)
For over three decades, Katherine Ladson - fondly known as Ms. Kat - has been taking care of The King and Prince. After 15 years of taking care of guest linens, she moved into the role of lobby attendant, keeping the resort's public spaces beautiful.
